241 people’s deputies voted for the adoption of the document as a basis.
“On the second attempt, the Rada supported in the first reading the historically large increase in taxes by UAH 58 billion this year and UAH 137 billion next year,” Zheleznyak wrote in a telegram.
According to him, the document provides:
- increase in military levy from 1.5% to 5%
- increase in taxes for the 1st-2nd group of FOP
- advance payments at gas stations
- 1% on all forms of FOP of the 3rd group
- 25% of profit to financial institutions
- monthly VAT reporting (for economy booking)
- 50% tax on bank profits in 2024.
According to the deputy, now amendments will be submitted to the draft law, the second reading is expected “somewhere in mid-October”.
The day before, the Tax Committee of the Verkhovna Rada supported the version of the government draft law on raising taxes 11416-d for the repeated first reading.
On September 3, in the Verkhovna Rada, deputies did not support this draft law in the first reading.
On July 18, the Cabinet of Ministers registered the draft law “On Amendments to the Tax Code”. The head of the budget committee of the Verkhovna Rada, Roksolana Pidlas, claims that if taxes are not raised, the military risks being left without support already at the end of September.
