Former heavyweight world champion Deontay Wilder stated that he is confident of his victory over WBC, WBA and IBF title holder Oleksandr Usyk.
The American is convinced that he can make a loud statement about himself and surprise the boxing world by drawing a parallel with the legendary Muhammad Ali.
“It will be something big for me and people will be shocked. When Ali said he rocked the world, he really did. I will shake the world too. And I will do it again,” Wilder said.
Previously, the WBC, WBA and IBF heavyweight title holder (over 90.7 kg) Oleksandr Usyk (24–0, 15 KOs) talked about his plans and admitted when he intends to end his professional career. The boxer recently made the WBO title vacant and lost the status of absolute world champion.
