In the Donetsk region, 8 people were killed through Russian shelling last day – Ova

In Donetsk region, on May 7, eight civilians were killed as a result of Russian shelling, said the head of the regional military administration Vadim Filashkin.

“In May 7, the Russians killed 8 inhabitants of Donetsk region: 2 in Mirnograd and Alexander-Kalinov, 1 in Pokrovsk, Illinivka, Sofiyivka and the Road,” he said.

Another 23 people were injured, including 12 of them in Konstantinovka, added the head of the Ova. According to the regional prosecutor’s office, late on May 7, the Russian troops dropped the airbomb on a high -rise building in Konstantinovka.

Russian military regularly from various weapons – UAVs, missiles, booths, RSSUs – attacked Ukrainian regions.

The Russian leadership denies that during a full -scale war, the Russian army causes purposeful strikes in the civilian infrastructure of cities and villages of Ukraine, killing civilian populations and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply.

Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes of the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful.
