“Under the procedural guidance of the prosecutors of the Synelnyk District Prosecutor’s Office of the Dnipropetrovsk region, three men were notified of suspicion of intentional damage to property by arson (Part 2, Article 194 of the Criminal Code),” the report says.
According to the investigation, on the night of January 8, 2025, the suspects broke the window of the administration building in the Synelniky district and threw bottles with a home-made combustible mixture inside. It is noted that this resulted in a fire, which the men captured on video.
Law enforcement officers detained the suspects in accordance with Art. 208 of the CPC of Ukraine. Currently, the issue of selecting them as preventive measures in the form of detention is being resolved.
The investigation is checking the possible involvement of the special services of the Russian Federation in the organization of the crime, as well as the connection of the suspects with similar cases in the Dnipro and Dnipro district of the region.
