What preceded: On the night of November 19, Russia struck an industrial facility and two residential buildings located on the territory of the “Sonyachny” massif. As a result of the shelling, significant destruction and casualties among the civilians of the city were recorded.
The Air Force confirmed that apartment buildings in the city of Ternopil were hit by Russian Kh-101 cruise missiles fired from strategic aircraft: 6 Tu-95MS (airport based “Olenya”), 4 Tu-160MS (airports based “Engels” and “Ukrainka”). The regions of the launches are the Vologda and Astrakhan regions of the Russian Federation.
As of 4:00 p.m., fragments of one of the cruise missiles that hit the nine-story building on November 19 were found and identified. This is the Kh-101 missile, manufactured in the fourth quarter of 2025.
