Electricity generation, distribution and transmission facilities in the Kyiv, Chernihiv, Lviv, Odesa, Zaporizhzhya, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv and Kharkiv regions were targeted by Russia.
In the morning, blackouts were recorded for consumers in six regions: Odesa, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Mykolaiv regions. Where the security situation allows, emergency crews are already working – power engineers are restoring the networks and trying to restore power to all subscribers as soon as possible.
The agency reminded that hourly blackout schedules are in effect throughout Ukraine, and consumption restrictions are in place for industrial enterprises and businesses. Current energy supply schedules are published by regional operators of the distribution system on their official resources.
In turn, Ukrenergo reported that the volume of previously forecasted measures to limit electricity consumption was forced to increase today.
The company reminded that there are currently 2.5-3 hourly outages in all regions of Ukraine at the same time.
“Also, capacity limitation schedules for industry and business will be applied throughout the day in all regions,” the message reads.
On Saturday, December 6, Ukraine will continue to operate graphs power outages. During the day, from 0.5 to 2.5 queues of consumers will be turned off at the same time.
