In Russia, the developer of the Kub-M shelter was accused of receiving a bribe

In Moscow, the head of the Scientific Research Center for the Improvement of Defense Measures of the All-Russian Research Institute of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations Mykola Posokhov and the deputy head of the institute Igor Sosunov are accused of receiving a particularly large bribe, Russian news agencies report with reference to sources.

According to the state agency TASS, the Zamoskvoretsky District Court of Moscow arrested Sosunov and sent Posokhov under house arrest. The details of the case are still unknown.

The All-Russian Research Institute of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations conducts scientific research in the field of civil defense, prevention and elimination of emergency situations. As noted by RBC, the Center for the Improvement of Protective Measures is the developer of the “Kub-M” bunker, the mass production of which began in the fall of 2024.
