Details: On Sunday evening, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported a telephone conversation of Lavrov and Rubio, during which they “discussed the situation related to the crisis in Ukraine.”

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Rubio expressed laurel condolences in connection with the victims as a result of blasting of railway infrastructure in Bryansk and Kursk regions.
They also discussed plans to restore direct Russian-Ukrainian negotiations in Istanbul on June 2.
