Literally: “If the older generation of Poles, in particular from the intelligentsia, is still often perceived by the Ukrainian people as a native brother or sister, with whom they grew up together, then quarreled through him, he believed, bad political elections, and now lives with him as a neighbor (whom During the poverty or in the event of an attack of Russians, they need to help), the younger generations are much more often perceived by Ukraine as a foreign country. ”

Details: Over the last year, the number of Poles who are negative about Ukrainians has increased from 27% to 30%, and the proportion of those who have decreased from 25% to 23%.

However, age -related changes in attitude towards Ukrainians look the most alarming.

If in the group of middle -aged and older people who are over 45, a positive idea of Ukrainians still outweighs the negative, then among young people, on the contrary: only 16% have good attitude, instead 37% are bad.

The fatigue of the Poles is also felt by the presence of a large, at least one and a half -monks of the Ukrainian community in Poland.

The number of supporters of the assimilation policy of Ukrainians in Poland has increased by 6 percentages, from 14% to 20% – that is, this group wants the children of Ukrainian refugees to become Poles.

At the same time, only 14% of Poles want Ukrainian refugees to stay in Poland.

Instead, more than half of the respondents would like them to return to Ukraine.

Prehistory:

  • The study also showed an increase in opponents of providing military assistance to Ukraine.
  • We will remind, published in December 2024 the survey showed that most Western Europeans believe that the Allies of Ukraine do not make enough, both from the point of view of economic sanctions against Moscow and from the point of view of military and other assistance in Kiev to prevent Russia in the war.
  • This survey also showed that the willingness to support Ukraine for victory decreased sharply in Western Europe at a critical time for Kiev.
