Details: According to the report, the information about sabotage on the railway was picked up by the Russian mass media and Telegram channels. The narratives focus on presenting the sabotage as a consequence of deepening internal tensions in Europe, and as an act inspired by the “war party” in the European Union.

Poland is described as a country that provokes incidents in order to later blame Russia and justify further military support for Ukraine. At the same time, there are speculations that “Polish partisans”, anarchists or Western saboteurs may be responsible for the sabotage.
In the Russian media, there are also references to Germany – the assumption that Berlin may undermine military supplies to Ukraine as part of revenge for the undermining of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline.
Previous attacks on infrastructure in Germany, France and the Czech Republic are also mentioned – they allegedly confirm that Europe itself is becoming a victim of the chaos it caused by supporting Ukraine.
The dominant thesis in Russian reports is the assertion that behind the acts of sabotage are the citizens of European countries themselves, who in this way express growing frustration and resistance to the policies of their governments.
The spread of narratives about “sabotages of Ukrainian services” was also recorded. Numerous posts limiting Russia’s responsibility and blaming Ukraine appeared in the public space. These posts used emotional language.
In the last 24 hours, more aggressive and openly pro-Russian messages have appeared, in which sabotage has been linked exclusively to Ukraine, for example:
“Ukrainian agents act quickly. They want to block the transit that Poland lives on”; “Ukrainian services have thousands of agents in Poland”; “The undermining of tracks is the handiwork of Ukrainian terrorists”; “Consequences of tolerating Ukrainian terrorism”.
Aggressive slogans “Poland and Russia together against Ukraine” also appeared, which is a classic element of Russian information operations.
There were also posts repeating the falsified information that “the German media had warned the PKP about a possible sabotage a few days before.”
It will be recalled that on November 18, during a speech in the Diet, the Prime Minister of Poland said that the investigation considers two Ukrainian citizens who cooperate with the Russian special services to be responsible for acts of sabotage on the Polish railway. They entered Poland from the territory of Belarus and managed to leave after sabotage.
He stated that Poland will demand the arrest and extradition of the suspects.
Before that, the security structures of Poland announced the involvement of “special services from the east” in the sabotage of the railway, although Russia was not directly named.
