Polish Defense Minister Vladislav Kosinak-Kakysh stated that the Polish security line is on the front line in Ukraine.
He reported this at a press conference in Kiev, emphasizing the need to strengthen cooperation between the two countries, Interfax-Ukraine writes.
“The Poland’s security line runs on the front line in Ukraine. I am fully aware of this and I think that for many who are trying to forget about it somewhere in Poland, in the world, you need to realize it again. This requires our cooperation and we need to intensify it in the field of acquisition of capabilities and common initiatives”, – he pointed out.
Kosiniak-Kaysh stressed that to ensure the safety of both countries, all the possibilities of Poland, Ukraine and Europe need to be used. He called for the cooperation of enterprises, joint initiatives and factories.
The head of the Ministry of Defense of Poland noted that the Polish army seeks to take advantage of the extensive experience of the Ukrainian military, because “this war has changed the battlefield, changed the perception, strategy, attraction of forces and means.”
A delegation headed by the Minister of Defense of Poland Vladislav Kosiniak-Kikish arrived in Kiev on September 18. During the visit, Ukraine and Poland agreed to create a joint operational group of unmanned aerial vehicles, which will coordinate the training and development of new defensive projects. The group will include the military of both countries.
