In Poland, more than 250 attempts to cross the border from Belarus in four days were declared

Over the last four days, Polish border guards have recorded more than 250 attempts to cross the border from the territory of Belarus.

As reported by the Border Service of Poland, all these attempts stopped.

“Two people were detained for assistance. Stones were thrown towards the Polish patrols, ”the statement published on the social network H.

On March 30, the Polish Ministry of Internal Affairs announced the completion of the construction of an electronic barrier on the state border with Belarus. An additional line of cameras for monitoring the outside of the fence was installed on the area of ​​the eastern border with a length of 206 kilometers, and LED lamps were installed for lighting the technical road.

The number of attempts by crossing the Polish border fell to 15 thousand in 2022, and some EU countries then considered Polish measures to protect the border too sharp.

In Poland, it is noted that the pressure on its eastern border increased again: last year, it was tried to cross 30.5 thousand people.
