In Poland detained a Ukrainian who is suspected of “northern streams”

Citizen of Ukraine Volodymyr J., whom Germany suspects in involvement in the undermining of the Russian gas pipeline “North Stream-1” and “North Stream-2”, was detained in Poland.

Details: A man who was wanted on the basis of a European arrest warrant issued by the German court was detained in Prushkov.

Now the Ukrainian is in the district prosecutor’s office in Warsaw, and the extradition procedure should begin soon.

According to the lawyer of the detained Timoteusz Paprotsky, there is no reason to publish Vladimir J. Germany.

Apparently, it is about Vladimir Zhuravlev, whose arrest was issued in June 2024. It was also reported that Berlin has sent Poland a European warrant for its arrest.
