In Poland, a citizen from the border town of Hrubeszów was found guilty and sentenced to 3.5 years in prison for working for Russian intelligence, among his tasks was the collection of security data at the Rzeszów-Jasionka airport.

Details: According to the investigation, 50-year-old Pavel K. from Hrubeshuv, a town near the border with Ukraine, wanted to work for Russian military intelligence and collect useful information for them.

Among his tasks was the collection of security data at the Rzeszów Jasionka airport, which is a key logistical hub for supporting Ukraine and international travel by Ukrainians during the war. These data could potentially be used to plan an attempt on the first persons of Ukraine.

The man also expressed his readiness to participate in the sabotage group and unit of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation

The Zamostia District Court found the man guilty of the charges and sentenced him to 3 years and 6 months in prison.
