In place of Runa. Plymouth appointed a new head coach

On the last day of 2024 “Plymouth” fired Wayne Runa as head coach. Cooperation with the former player of the England national team was terminated due to the unsatisfactory results of “Plymouth” in the Championship. The new coach of the team was appointed Myron Muslyk.

From 2022 to 2024, Muslyk coached the Belgian club “Circle Brugge”. He managed to lead the team from the relegation zone to the upper part of the tournament table. The contract with the 42-year-old specialist was concluded for three and a half years.

Muslyk faces a difficult task. Plymouth is currently in last place in the Championship standings. In 25 matches, the team won only 4.

Muslyk’s first game on the trainer’s bridge will take place on Tuesday, January 14. “Plymouth” will play at home with “Oxford United”

Earlier it was reported that “Plymouth” got points in the Championship after the resignation of the coach.
