The Security Service of Ukraine exposed and detained in Odessa two pro -Russian agitators – clergymen of the UOC (MP), who spread Kremlin narratives, justified the aggression of the Russian Federation and glorified the occupiers.
According to the investigation, one of the persons involved is the 58-year-old priest of the Diocese of Odessa. In conversations with parishioners, he heroned the Russian military and humiliated believers of other denominations. It turned out that Cleric maintained contacts with the former People’s Deputy from the Party of Regions Igor Markov, who is hiding in Russia and suspected of the State Exc.
In addition, he collaborated with a collaborator Valery Kaurav, a well -known creation in 2014 of the so -called “Odessa People’s Republic”. At his order, the priest, along with his 23-year-old daughter, was photographed with clean sheets of paper against the backdrop of famous places of Odessa, and passed the pictures in the Russian Federation. There, the photo added fake inscriptions calling for the occupation of the city, which later broadcast Rostob and anonymous pro -Russian channels on social networks.
The second detainee was the 44-year-old Archpriest of the UOC (MP), who justified Russian rocket strikes in Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure in sermons.
Forensic linguistic examinations confirmed their activities in favor of the aggressor country. Both were reported suspected of articles of the Criminal Code regarding the justification of aggression of the Russian Federation and violation of equality of citizens on a religious basis. The attackers are threatened with up to 8 years in prison with confiscation of property.
We will remind that on August 11 the military counterintelligence of the SBU reported the detention of a 38-year-old local woman in Lviv, who transferred to the Russian occupiers the coordinates of operational aerodromes with combat helicopters of the Armed Forces.
The SBU exposed the Russian spy, which was preparing a blow to the Zaporozhye factories.
The SBU also attacked the plant in Russia, which produces components for missiles X-32 and X-101.
