In Moscow for military “fakes” sent into custody historian Sutkin

The District Court of Moscow decided to take custody and historian of Russian cuisine Pavel Sutkin, accused of spreading “fakes” about the army for political reasons. The district court in the capital of Russia, Moscow, decided to send to the detention center blogger and historian of Russian cuisine Pavel Sutkin, said the mediazon, with reference to the united press service of the Courts of Moscow.

Sutkina is accused of spreading fakes about the army on the motives of political hatred. The detention of the historian became known in the afternoon on October 9. The investigation asked to assign him to detention.

The reason for criminal prosecution was the message in the telegram-channel of the man. According to investigators, they contained false information about the “actions of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation against the civilian population of Ukraine”.

Pavel Sutkin is the author of books on the history of Russian and Soviet cuisine, as well as the former presenter of food history and television programs. In 2015, the blogger officially represented Russia at the expo exhibition in Milan.
