“Regarding the power supply. There is preliminary information from the energy companies that the power supply will be restored at 20:00. However, I recommend taking this information with caution, because there is no guarantee that the power will appear at exactly 20:00. It could be later.” Polishchuk noted.
Regarding communal services, the mayor informed that all boiler enterprises of “Lutskteplo” are working. Some boiler houses are powered by the usual electricity supply, others by diesel generators. The batteries are not cold, and the temperature in the apartments should be between +16 and +18 degrees.
Polishchuk also informed that the company “Lutskvodokanal” switched to diesel generators. The water supply is working, and so is the drainage system, but residents living above 4-5 floors may experience reduced water pressure. The mayor recommended that residents contact neighbors or use common water access points in basements.
In city transport, 15 trolleybuses on routes 1, 2, 3, 4, 4a, 5 and 12 have already been restored.
“Traffic on other routes will be restored after the power supply is connected,” Polishchuk said.
Also, after the rocket attack, points of invincibility were deployed in Lutsk, where you can find heating, charge gadgets and get drinking water.
“Points are available to everyone, although their use was limited,” he concluded.
Polishchuk thanked everyone who worked on eliminating the consequences of the emergency situation, in particular, utility workers and employees of the State Emergency Service.
