Under the procedural guidance of prosecutors of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office, two 23-year-old men were notified of suspicion of illegal storage, transportation and sale of counterfeit dollars.
photo by BEB According to the investigation, the sale of counterfeit foreign currency was organized by two residents of Kyiv and Kyiv region. They were selling $100 bills for half their real value – $50 each.
The prosecutor’s office notes that the forgeries were of high quality. So far, sales of fakes worth USD 2,000 have been documented.
