According to the KMDA, the metro station “Lybidska” is temporarily closed at the entrance. At the exit, the station is open. Trains make stops on both tracks.

“On one of the escalators, which was working downhill, because of the guard for the limiting line, the shoes of one of the passengers got into the mechanism. This led to the stop of the escalator,” the message says.

The KMDA added that an ambulance was called to the scene. Escalator repair specialists are also on site.

“Due to the major repair of escalator No. 1, there is no reserve to ensure the transportation of passengers. We will inform you about the resumption of normal operation of the Lybidska station,” the message states.
