In Kyiv, the director of the children’s and youth sports school subordinated to the Department of Youth and Sports of the executive body of the KMDA was informed about the suspicion. The reason was an overpayment of 1.2 million hryvnias during the repair of the playground.

The investigation established that the suspect concluded a contract with a private enterprise for the purchase and installation of a playground with a playing field and sanitary facilities for a total amount of over 3 million hryvnias.
At the same time, the commodity examination showed that the market value of the playground with a playing field and a sanitary facility is about 1.8 million hryvnias.
According to the conclusion of the economic examination, as a result of the purchase of the site at an inflated price of almost two times, the territorial community suffered losses in the amount of more than 1.2 million hryvnias.
Earlier, the police exposed the officials of the critical infrastructure state enterprise in the embezzlement of 23 million hryvnias on the purchase of software.
And the Higher Anti-Corruption Court announced sentences to seven officials of the state self-supporting foreign trade and investment firm “Ukrinmash” in the case of embezzlement of UAH 3.5 million. The company is a structural unit of the state-owned Ukroboronprom.
