The man created noses for the characters of the show.
Russia killed Vadim Tupchy / UNIAN collage / photo viktor-andrienko.com, facebook/vadim.tupchyAs a result of the Russian combined shelling of Kyiv, the Ukrainian stuntman Vadym Tupchiy, known for his cooperation with the humorous TV series “The Long-nosed Show”, was killed.
Journalist Denys Kazansky writes about this in his Telegram channel. According to his data, a Russian kamikaze drone of the Shahed type hit the decorator’s apartment that night. Unfortunately, the man did not survive:
“With today’s shelling, they killed Vadym Tupchy, a well-known decorator and prop who created noses for the Long-nosed Show. Shahed was directly hit in his apartment. Such victories in the Russian army now.”
On the website of the Ukrainian actor, theater and film director Viktor Andriyenko, it is stated that he and Tupchiy met when they were still students of pop and circus, and later started working together on the TV series.
“My task was to make noses for the Long Nose Show not disposable, but durable – made of latex. There were hundreds of these noses. 20 noses were made for one Andrienko. A potato nose, a carrot nose, a hook nose for different images,” the decorator said.
In general, the prop fulfilled various orders – from a detailed model of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant to foam horns, hammers, chairs, apples and cakes.
It will be recalled that during the previous mass attack on the capital, the Russian army killed the widow of the first victim of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, Valery Khodymchuk.
