The Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office, together with the district prosecutors, conducted a large-scale operation, which resulted in the termination of fraudulent call center centers. These structures specialize in illegal schemes in the field of financial services.

It was found that a group of persons who were organized in Kyiv with the purpose of taking over the money of citizens were organized by the so-called call centers. Here they offered to invest in cryptocurrency or profitable trade on stock exchanges, as well as earnings on cryptocurrency platforms.
Operators, introducing themselves to employees of banking institutions, investment and telecommunication companies, received confidential data of citizens, access to personal offices and their funds.
Prosecutors of the bodies of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office, in the framework of investigation of criminal proceedings on fraudulent seizure of citizens’ funds, conducted 15 searches at the places of activity of fraudulent call centers in the city of Kyiv. During the searches, computer equipment (more than 300 system blocks and laptops), mobile phones, starting packages, various counterfeit certificates and other material evidence relevant to criminal proceedings were removed.
Also in the offices of offices, which housed call centers, found the symbolism of the aggressor country, portraits of Putin, as well as thanks from the FSB, forms of Russian documents that are established.
It should be reminded that at the end of June this year, prosecutors of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office reported suspicion of six residents of Kiev, who organized a fraudulent scheme for the sale of counterfeit Polish driver’s licenses through specially created websites.
A new fraudulent scheme has appeared in Ukraine, under which fraudsters are exposed to law enforcement officers and accused the victims of treason.
