“The event happened in the evening of December 1 in Khmelnyk. According to the investigation, the victim visited a neighbor, where they drank alcohol together. A domestic conflict arose between the men, during which the master of the house grabbed a kitchen knife from the table and stabbed his guest in the neck with it. The blow caused damage to the main blood vessels, so the victim died on the spot from massive blood loss,” the report says.

The suspect was detained. A petition has been sent to the court to apply a preventive measure in the form of detention. The crime is punishable by imprisonment for a term of seven to 15 years.
