Work is ongoing to assess the damage and determine the next steps for recovery. Due to this, the supply of hot water was temporarily stopped in some consumers of Kholodnohirskyi, Novobavarskyi, Shevchenkivskyi and Kyiv districts.
Where it is technically possible, specialists switch consumers to autonomous sources of heat supply, and the temperature of the coolant is reduced.
“This step is necessary to ensure water circulation in the system and prevent defrosting of networks. After determining the extent of the damage, the emergency crews will begin restoration work,” the KP said.
