The State Border Service of Ukraine stopped the activity of the scheme of illegal departure of men of conscription age, which was organized by a 25-year-old resident of Kharkiv. According to the investigation, the perpetrator acted in collusion with a group of persons and offered clients to cross the border bypassing the established checkpoints for the sum of twenty thousand US dollars per person.

The organizer was detained while receiving a deposit in the amount of one and a half thousand US dollars. The suspect planned to receive part of the funds for his “services” in his own crypto wallet to hide financial transactions. The law enforcement officers have already served the Kharkiv resident with a charge under the article, which provides for a penalty of seven to nine years’ imprisonment with confiscation of property.
Previously, the Security Service of Ukraine exposed a reservation scheme against mobilization through fictitious lyceums.
