The incident happened on April 20 at about 2:30 pm on the left -bank part of the city. According to preliminary information, the conflict arose between “civilian” and “military”, with the latter in a state of alcohol intoxication.
The local residents, when heard the shots, immediately called the police. Law enforcement officers arrived at the scene promptly – the offender was delayed on hot. The man seized a weapon, which, according to preliminary data, is a “Kalashnikov machine”.
Police confirmed that the shooter was drunk.
The detainee was taken into custody in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. On the fact of shooting criminal proceedings were opened under Part 4 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – “hooliganism”. The sanction of this article provides for imprisonment for up to seven years.
