On Thursday, January 16, in his farewell speech, US President Joe Biden mentioned Ukraine in the context of his administration’s foreign policy achievements.

Biden gave a farewell speech in the Oval Office of the White House. In his speech, the US president expressed hope that the achievements of his administration will be preserved for many years.

“It will take time to feel the full impact of what we have done together. But the seed has been sown, and it will grow and bloom for decades,” he said.

On January 10, Biden said that Ukraine has a real chance” to defeat Russia, because the price of war for the aggressor country is incredibly high, and Putin is in a “predicament”.

On January 9, the head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin, announced a new package of military aid for Ukraine from the US for 500 million dollars. This is the latest aid package for Ukraine announced by the current administration of US President Joe Biden.
