According to preliminary data, six people, including one child, were killed in Glukhiv as a result of a Russian attack, and 12 people were injured, including two children, the Sumy Regional Military Administration reported in the morning of November 19.

“Late in the evening of November 18, the enemy attacked one of the dormitories in Glukhiv, directing two Shahed-type attack UAVs at the peaceful residents,” the message reads.

The OVA added that emergency and rescue operations are ongoing, there may still be people under the rubble.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.

As of the end of October, the UN reported that it was able to confirm data on the death of 12,162 civilians in Ukraine and the wounding of 26,919 since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia. The organization emphasized that the real data could be much higher.
