In Donetsk, the Security Service detained another Russian military intelligence agent. The woman spied on the locations of the Defense Forces and corrected Russian airstrikes on them in Donetsk region.

According to law enforcement officers, the suspect was a 51-year-old unemployed woman from the city of Kostyantynivka, who was recruited by the special service of the Russian Federation in the summer of this year.
The agent tried to identify and hand over to the occupiers the locations of fortified areas and artillery positions of Ukrainian troops fighting for Chasiv Yar.
In the future, the occupiers planned to carry out air attacks on these units of the Armed Forces, thus creating conditions for a breakthrough in the city’s defenses.
“SBU counter-intelligence uncovered enemy plans and detained a Russian agent at her place of residence. At the same time, comprehensive measures were taken to secure the relevant units of the Defense Forces,” the special service added.
During the search, computer equipment and a mobile phone with evidence of working for the enemy were seized from the detainee.
Investigators of the Security Service informed her about the suspicion of h. 2 Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – high treason committed under martial law.
The perpetrator is in custody, she faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
Earlier, the Security Service of Ukraine neutralized an agent group of the Russian military intelligence (GRU), which operated in Kharkiv. She arranged caches with RGD-5 grenades and money on the outskirts of the city, creating supplies for other agents and Russian saboteurs.
In addition, the Counterintelligence of the Security Service detained another enemy agent in Donetsk region. The perpetrator turned out to be a 67-year-old resident of Lyman, who worked for Russian military intelligence and was waiting for the capture of the city.
