It is known that on Sunday night, October 12, the enemy carried out another attack on facilities of energy and gas transportation infrastructure of the country, causing damage in three regions. Due to hostile shelling, the objects of energy in Donetsk, Odesa and Chernihiv region were damaged.

In addition, on Monday, October 13, in five regions of Ukraine, emergency shutdowns of electricity through Russian attacks on energy facilities were introduced.

Note that the mayor of the Dnieper Boris Filatov assured that due to the situation in the energy sector of Ukraine as a result of Russian shelling, the heating season should begin as much as possible. He proposes to launch it simultaneously and centrally all over the country.

Earlier, Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi reported that Lviv delayed the beginning of the heating season for several weeks due to massive shelling of Russia on energy infrastructure.

In the Nikolaev area, the beginning of the heating season will be postponed for as long as possible. This is done to save and because of a difficult security situation.
The UN is preparing a new one -time financial aid in Ukraine. It is intended for the residents of the frontal regions for the purchase of solid furnace fuel and will amount to UAH 19,400 per household in the 2025-2026 season.
