Digital tanks are already here. We were close to cutting off electricity,” the Polish minister emphasized.

Earlier, the Minister of Energy, Milos Motyka, announced that in the last days of 2025, an unsuccessful cyber attack took place on a number of facilities that produce electricity.

Havkowski assured that Polish institutions are “well prepared”.

“There is no reason to panic,” he added.

Recently, sabotage was committed on railways in Poland. Poland decided to send territorial defense troops to patrol the most important parts of the critical railway infrastructure after these incidents.

At the end of November, the court granted the request of the prosecutor and took into custody in absentia two Ukrainians suspected of sabotaging the railway infrastructure, the next day the prosecutor issued arrest warrants for the two men.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that his country would demand the arrest and extradition of the suspects, who are known to have left for Belarus.
