The woman received 2 years of imprisonment, but was released from serving a sentence under Articles 75 and 76 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine with a probation for 1 year, reported in the Cherkasy Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
According to law enforcement officers, on the eve of the New Year, December 31, a local resident approached the police and reported the theft of a Christmas tree from a man’s grave on the hero’s alley.
“Thanks to the prompt actions of criminal investigation and analysis, forensic experts and investigators who worked at the scene and gathered material evidence and the necessary information was established, – reported in the General Directorate of the National Police.
In Kiev, the court will consider the forced treatment of a woman suspected of abuse of the graves of fallen servicemen – including Dmitry Kotsubayl with the call sign “Da Vinci”, Pavel Petrychenko and Andriy Pilchykov with the call sign “Jus”. The graves are located on the territory of the Askold Tomb.
