“Police staffed the attackers and identified all persons involved in the crime. These are residents of Uman, men 30, 32, 39, 45, 50 years and a 50-year-old woman. They were detained and placed in a temporary detention center. Investigators reported the detainees of suspicions, ”the message said.
According to the investigation, in February, the body of a dead man with traces of beating was found in a car on one of Uman streets. The deceased was a serviceman.
The 44-year-old victim had a monetary debt to his acquaintance, who decided to “knock out” his money and raised his comrades who had previously had problems with the law.
“During the meeting, the attackers began to beat the military: first with their hands and feet, and then by bat. In the expense of “compensation” for debt, they took away his car and personal belongings. The victims were put in the trunk, and when they found that he had died, they threw a car with a body on the street, ”law enforcement officers said.
Currently, three defendants are charged with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code), robbery (Part 4 of Article 187 of the Criminal Code), illegal seizure of a vehicle (Part 3 of Article 289 of the Criminal Code) and illegal storage of narcotic drugs (Part 1 of Article 309 of the Criminal Code). The rest of the persons involved by law enforcement officers are suspected of robbery, illegal seizure of a vehicle, abuse of the body (Part 3 of Article 297 of the Criminal Code) and concealment of a crime (Part 1 of Article 396 of the Criminal Code). The sanction of the most serious article provides up to 15 years in prison.
Four suspects are already in custody, and another under house arrest. The location of another accomplice of the crime is currently unknown.
