“State Secretary of the Council of Belarus Oleksandr Volfovich reported that the Orezhnik complex is expected in Belarus by the end of the year, although earlier Lukashenko announced his delivery from Russia “from day to day””, – WRITE: www.radiosvoboda.org
According to him, this complex “though mobile, but still has prepared places”.
“We have preserved it since the Soviet Union. I think that by the end of the year we will execute the instructions of two presidents who were placed in front of us, including the military, ”the official said.
In Belarus, there are Soviet mines for the establishment of ballistic nuclear missiles, which, according to the Budapest Memorandum, were removed from the country to Russia.
Wolfovich also stated that in the near future Belarus would hand over to Russia cars where the Oreshnik complexes will be installed, he called these cars “the product of the Union State” (Russia and Belarus – ed.).
“Because the base-the main vehicle-is produced at the enterprises of the military-industrial complex in the Republic of Belarus, and the means of damage-the missile-in the Russian Federation. We complete the production of the required number of these machines, which will be transferred to the Russian Federation in the near future for the equipment of the defeat, ”the State Secretary of the Security Council said.
On March 14, speaking in the Council of the Federation of Russia, Alexander Lukashenko, among other things, stated that Moscow would transfer to Belarus several rocket complexes “Oreshnik” by the end of the year. Starting installations for the rocket complex, he said, are produced in Belarus.
On January 26, Lukashenko told reporters that Oreshnik would be delivered to Belarus from day to day. According to Lukashenko, he “joked” when he previously stated the need to accommodate 10 such missile complexes in Belarus. Putin made him a “remark” about this, since Russia did not promise so many of these weapons, he added.
