During 2025, the Armed Forces of Ukraine received 25% more special armored vehicles compared to 2024.

This was announced by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Denis Shmyhal.

Armored vehicles of Ukrainian and foreign production were used to transport troops and cargo, provide fire support and evacuate the wounded. The minister did not specify the total number of cars received.

According to Shmygal, some of the armored vehicles are manufactured according to the MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) scheme. They have a V-shaped bottom to dissipate the energy of the explosion, special shock-absorbing seats and a monolithic armored capsule with external explosion-absorbing elements: wheels, chassis and engine.

In Kovel, insulation of the hospital with expensive panels was ordered for 45 million at the expense of the EIB.

Also, the Police buys chest video cameras from a middleman 1.5 times more expensive than the importer.
