Imports of electric vehicles to Ukraine increased by a third in the first quarter of 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, 20 100 passenger electric cars (Bev) were imported to Ukraine, reports Ukravtoprom with reference to the State Statistics Service. This is almost a third more than in the same period last year.

The total customs value of imported electric vehicles was $ 355.5 million.

Most new electric vehicles (93%) came from China, while the leader among the suppliers of used cars remains the United States – they account for 38% of imports in this segment.

We will remind, recently Ukravtoprom also reported that in April 2025 Ukrainians purchased 1256 cars, imported from China. This is 8% more than in the same period of 2024. The vast majority were new machines. At the same time, sales of used cars decreased by 30%.
