On the sidelines of the Yalta European Strategy (YES) meeting, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi met with Wolfgang Ischinger, president of the board of the Munich Security Conference Foundation.

The head of state noted the important role of the conference in finding ways to overcome the challenges facing Ukraine, Europe and the world.

“I strongly expect that the Munich Security Conference will continue to be an authoritative international platform for the consolidation of the democratic, civilized world around the support of Ukraine and the approach of a just and lasting peace in our country,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized.

During the meeting, they discussed steps to implement all 10 points of the Peace Formula and preparations for the second Peace Summit.

“I hope that Ukraine and the cessation of Russian aggression on our land will be one of the central topics of the next Munich Security Conference, which will be held in February 2025,” the President noted.
