On the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi met with the Secretary General of the Organization of American States Luis Almagro. About this informs September 23, Office of the President.
Volodymyr Zelenskyi noted the constant support of Ukraine and its fight against Russian aggression.
“First of all, I want to thank you for participating in the inaugural Peace Summit in Switzerland. Thank you very much for your help in involving our other partners to participate. This is very important,” the head of state said.
During the meeting, they discussed in detail how to maintain the unity of the world community for the sake of peace and the effectiveness of global efforts. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of the Peace Formula. The President also shared plans for the second Peace Summit.
