President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed doubts about whether Ukraine will be able to win a war without the support of the United States.
He reported it on Wednesday, February 5, during a speech at the President’s office.
“What about whether we can do without this help? You remember that at the very beginning of the war we were without such support, and the situation was extremely difficult. We could lose the country. But thanks to our people, the army and, of course, partners, we were able to withstand, ”Zelensky said.
He stressed that he does not even want to imagine what can happen if the war continues without the help of the US.
“It is very risky. The fact that it will seriously hit our power, to protect the country in our ability. We will become weaker and whether we can keep our positions – I’m not sure, ”the President added.
Zelensky also noted that there was no decline in US assistance at the moment and the support is ongoing.
“I am grateful to the United States. Of course, we are not talking about new help packages, because it is too early to talk about it. But we are actively communicating with the American team, ”he summed up.
