My main conclusion from the forum is that the world loves strong. Despite the fact that numerous representatives of Europe at their “home” forum did not look strong at all. And their uncertainty about the future of Europe and their constant location on the overseas neighbor only emphasized their weakness.
The world loves the strongThe weakness of Europe, probably, was the leitmotif of the forum. It turns out that Europe loses its subjectivity. Neither the ability to solve or reduce geopolitical challenges and improve security for its citizens, nor in the ability to stimulate economic growth, Europe is no longer self -sufficient. In all the main topics of the Forum, Europe has to focus on stronger – in the United States.
At the same time, a few US representatives as a strong state looked at the forum by the bearers of some sacred wisdom. By the way, probably to emphasize this sacredness, in almost every sentence they mentioned the name of Trump.
Everyone wanted to talk to them, they listened to their words, despite the obvious fact that nothing depends on their vision and their decisions. It reminded me of a special attitude to any American in the representatives of the post-Soviet space in the 80’s and 1990s of the last century. That’s what Europe came to.
Trump spoke directly about Europe’s weakness in his video, to which great attention was drawn. In particular, he emphasized the “terrible” level of bureaucracy in the EU, which, in his opinion, prevents new businesses from creating.
A chance for UkrainePresident Volodymyr Zelenskyy also devoted his speech to the weaknesses of Europe, urging the EU to become stronger with Ukraine and even offering specific steps for this.
And although his speech threw the loud applause, it did not look like the audience was ready to get on his calls. Just because, unfortunately, Ukraine does not look a strong country in the eyes of European politicians and businessmen. Although not of her fault, it is now a victim of Russian aggression.
But the world loves the strong. It is significant that Zelensky, like Trump two days after, drew attention to the regulation of business processes in the EU. Although, according to different international ratings, Ukraine is unlikely to boast of Ukraine, I am sure that Ukraine can become a European deregulation leader in the future.
Many positive changes have already happened. And this may be our competitive advantage, which may be the greatest contribution to the future success of Europe. And if we, of course with the help of our Western partners, can overcome our enemy and end this unjust war under our conditions, then we will definitely become strong.
And if we overcome our internal problems (I will not even list them here, but I am sure that we will overcome them), then with our digitalization level we can really become competitive in Europe and even help it become stronger.
Then we will not only respect our sustainability and sacrifice, but also love for our power.
