British football expert John Wenham explained why Bournemouth’s Ukrainian defender Ilya Zabarny will not move to Tottenham.
“Earlier, Zabarny was associated with Spurs. He was considered a real variant of the central left defender role. Then came Bournemouth, who signed him for 18 million pounds sterling. However, I don’t think he’s done enough since then to double the amount or even more.
Spurs already have several central defenders, including several promising young players. Therefore, I do not think that the club will sign another player for this position. Especially in January, if only Christian Romero or Micky van de Ven do not get a very serious injury,” said Venam.
