The first Ukraine was represented by Anastasiya Merkushina, who conducted a successful stage, using 2 additional cartridges and showing the third move in her stage (+11.4). As a result, Merkushina passed the baton to the second with a lag of 2.8 seconds from the leader.
Liliya Steblyna, due to four used additional cartridges and not a high pace on the track (+50 from the leader) at the firing lines, pushed the Ukrainian national team to the sixth position (+1:05.9).
Denys Nasyko dropped the “blue-yellow” team to the seventh place due to a lap penalty on the couch, the gap from the leader was +1:27.5. On the move, the Ukrainian lost to Swede Emil Nyqvist by 31.5 seconds.
Artem Tyshchenko distinguished himself with impeccable shooting, thanks to which he lifted Ukraine to the sixth place. Artem lost 45.3 seconds.
The victory in the race was won by the German team, which used only four additional cartridges. The French came second, using 10 additional cartridges, and Sweden rounded out the three prize winners, who distinguished themselves by moving quickly, thus compensating for two penalty laps.
