The blogger frankly told what she thinks about relationships with people with disabilities / Instagram screenshotUkrainian blogger Tanya Prentkovych, known for her frank statements and outrageous behavior, once again found herself at the center of a scandal. This time, the reason was her answers to the questions of followers on Instagram-storyz, where she touched on the topic of the new season of the reality show “Bachelor” and its main character, war veteran Alexander Teren.When asked whether she would be able to build a relationship with a person with a disability, Prentkovich gave an ambiguous answer. She admitted that she admires Oleksandr Teren as a person, noting his “cool sense of humor, indomitability and zest for life.”
However, the blogger categorically stated that her relationship with him is possible only in the format of friendship. The blogger says that she would stay with her chosen one Andriy Gonkovsky if something happened to him. However, Prentkovich does not hide the fact that she will not be able to build a romantic relationship with a person who is confined to a wheelchair.
The blogger expressed her opinion about abortion / Instagram screenshotPrentkovich’s statement that she would have an abortion if she found out about her child’s birth defects became even more resonant.
“I know, you can judge now, but I am honest with myself and you. I think the same way about children. If I had been told at an early stage of pregnancy that the child would be disabled, I would probably have an abortion. But here, too, everything depends on the extent of these defects compatible with normal life,” the blogger wrote.
Later, the blogger tried to justify her position, saying that she is “not so brave and not ready to give herself so much to another person. However, these words could not reduce the level of negativity aimed at her.
The scandal surrounding Prentkovich’s statements once again raises important questions about tolerance, inclusion and society’s attitude towards people with disabilities.
