Ukrainian striker Roman Yaremchuk commented on his transfer from the Greek “Olympiakos” to the French “Lyon”:
“I’m really happy to be here and to be reunited with Clinton Mata, who I played with at Club Brugge. I also know Paula Fonseca, the head coach of the team, very well. The atmosphere at the Grupama Stadium last night immediately impressed me and I’m already looking forward to playing in front of those fans.”
We will remind you that the transfer of Roman Yaremchuk took place on the basis of a 6-month lease with an option to buy for 5 million euros.
In the 2025/26 season, Roman Yaremchuk played 16 matches at the club level, scoring 4 goals and 1 assist. The Transfermarkt portal estimates his value at 2.5 million euros.
