“I drove one lap and that’s it.” Tsymbal recalled his debut at the World Cup

Ukrainian biathlete Bohdan Tsymbal told how his debut at the World Cup took place and what he felt at that moment.

“I remember it was the 106th place in the sprint in Oberhof. It is quite a difficult moment – you are influenced by the outside and screw up a lot for yourself. I ran not in my mode, at that stage I was not yet ready to run at the maximum from the first to the last meter. He drove one lap and that was it – that was the end of the race. It was very unfortunate. First start, and so far. It was bad, I was very upset. Over time, one person said the right words to me: What difference does it make where to run – at the IBU Cup or at the World Cup, you run both there and there the same,” said Tsymbal.

Earlier it was reported that Bohdan outlined his goals for the new season.
