The legendary Spanish tennis player Raphael Nadal told what he thinks about the doping of the world’s first racket Yannik Sinner.

Anti -doping authorities do not challenge Sinner’s explanation that clostebol, found in his body, was accidentally transmitted by his coach during a massage, but this episode has caused significant disputes in the world tennis community.

“After all, if I’m not mistaken, he is recognized innocent. In this case, it was not a positive event for our sport, tennis. After all, such things sometimes happen, accidents, and that is how I perceive it because I believe in Yannik. From what I know about Yannik, I am convinced that he has never tried to deceive or gain an advantage over others. I am sure he is an honest and decent person.

On the other hand, I do not want to question this decision. There are protocols that we all follow throughout our career. In this case, the authorities have all the information, not the one we have, which can be limited and subjective. I believe in this decision. Yannik agreed with these three months of sanctions, and therefore: the case is closed.

In the future, if we do not like how protocols function, then obviously people involved in them should work on their improvement. But as for me, I do not like to talk bad about our sport. In the end, these protocols are protocols that we all accepted and signed, ”said the 22-time winner of the Great Helmet tournaments in a single discharge.
