The Hungarian Presidential Service did not respond to Radio Liberty as a reason for such adjustments.
Mukacheve is located 30 kilometers from the border of Ukraine and Hungary. The city has a large Hungarian community. As a result of the Russian attack, 19 people were injured there.
The statement of Hungary President was adjusted against the backdrop of negotiations on the possible organization of the Summit of Russia – Ukraine in Budapest. However, the exact place and time for the meeting is not yet determined.
Meanwhile, Hungary Foreign Minister Peter Siyarto, responding to a massive Russian blow to Ukraine, did not mention nor that Russia or the victim Mukachevo caused the blow.
