In the Ternopil region, 412 points of invincibility have been deployed, which can accommodate up to 8,500 people.
Ternopil OVA reported this on Facebook.
“Most of them, namely 321, are organized by local authorities. Rescuers of the State Emergency Service created 42 points, of which 26 are stationary. Additionally, a reserve of 12 mobile points and 4 mobile points based on high-terrain vehicles has been prepared. The responsible business has ensured the functioning of 31 unbreakable points, one is located at the railway station in Ternopil, and another 17 are organized by the National Police Department,” the message reads.
Data on the locations and characteristics of 359 points (87.1% of the total) have been submitted to the Ministry of Digital Transformation. For the convenience of city residents, an interactive map has been created in the “Action” application.
It is noted that all points of unbreakability have a complex purpose. They provide heat, lighting, water, access to mobile communications, the Internet and chargers. Also, the points have first-aid kits, places to rest and other basic means of support, which are necessary in emergency situations or long-term power outages.
In Ternopil, after the nighttime air attack by the Russian occupiers on the local energy infrastructure, work continues to restore electricity and water supply. Heating stations are being restored in the city.
The power infrastructure object, which was attacked by Russian troops on the night of November 26, provided electricity to Ternopil.
