Alexandra Palace has become a legendary backdrop for darts‘ biggest tournament as the fans have created a one-of-a-king atmosphere.

Part of that raucous crowd last night was Ted Lasso stars Jason Sudekis and Brendan Hunt.

Sudekis plays the titular character while Hunt is the beloved Coach Beard in the acclaimed TV series – the pair looks like they could have just walked off the set to the Ally Pally.

The pair have been in England plenty this year after season four for Ted Lasso began filming, much to the shock of fans of the series.

The end of season three seemed like a true finale, but Apple ended up commissioning a fourth season that follows Lasso coaching a woman’s team in the US.

Series regulars like Hannah Waddingham and Brett Goldstein – along with Hunt – are also returning.

The iconic duo drank in some quality darts as Littler, the youngest world number one in darts history, eased to success.

Speaking to Emma Paton on the stage after his matchup, the 18-year-old casted doubts on his chances to win BBC‘s Sports Personality of the Year award on December 18.

He said: “No, I don’t think so. Err, I don’t think so.

“If I had to pick a winner, definitely Lando.”

Lando Norris won his first-ever F1 World Championship last weekend and is considered one of the top three favourites for the prize.

However, Rory McIlroy is still the leading contender with the bookies after finally winning the Masters this year and completing his career Grand Slam.
